#245 PHOTOWALK: INSECT ATTACK! expeditions & OTHER STORIES

This week on the mailbag show: we talk about making expeditions, PHOTO SWINDON, shooting left or right eyed, creating your first expedition, finding confidence, making a 365+, we take a new FIRST THING YOU SEE picture, introduce you to camera ASMR and discuss the Instagram revolution. Of course as always we’re displaying the pictures you have made from your own photowalks below and if you’d like to contribute with your own, send to studio@photographydaily.show - remember to send 2000 pixels max on the wide side.

There's inspiration from former guests including Jason P. Howe from his recent episode on learning conflict photography on the fly, plus Jason Florio and Helen Jones-Florio on canoeing in Africa. We also hear words of encouragement from Michael Beecham following his first solo exhibition, Sanity Within the Stasis and catch up with Karah Mew talking about Instagram.

As ever supported by our wonderful team of Patrons and MPB.com, the number one platform when it comes to trust for buying, selling and trading used camera gear with offices and warehouses now in Brighton UK, Brooklyn USA, and now Berlin for Europe. Heard from a patron Brad Wolcott who after a particularly bad experience trying to sell a lens on a general marketplace platform, heard me mention MPB, and decided to give them a try. He says; “I’ve bought, sold, and traded lenses and equipment now from MPB, and I don’t think I will consider using anyone else! They are fair and honest, and everything I have received from them has worked perfectly!!”

FURTHER REFERENCE: The Facebook group and Instagram, Woody Campbell’s 365+ project, Eric DeLorme’s website and Flickr and PHOTO SWINDON - see pictures from Jason and Helen at the exhibition below.
