365:240 GEORGE O’MAHONY

I just recently started to listen to your wonderful podcast and I'm blown away by it, such a relaxed and calming feel to it, Love it!

I have two little dogs who need regular walking and I would often listen to a podcast or some music while I wandered around my local woods in Portlaw Co.Waterford, Ireland-land. I never found a photography podcast that really grabbed me (until I discovered yours) and it was normally a history podcast that kept me company. Delighted now that I have a lot of older episodes to get through which will keep me entertained for quite some time.

I'm an amateur photographer who dabbles in nature photography (landscape/seascape, macro, wildlife).

The 365 image I'm sending in was taken at a local beach to me called Kilfarrasy on the Copper Coast which is a bit of a mecca for seascape photographers in Ireland. This is a not so often captured scene as the tide has to be fully out to get access to it and your time is limited while you're there. While I was taking this shot there was a real nervous energy flowing through me because of the thought of getting cut off is a real possibility.

See more of George’s work on his Instagram.
