#30 CAN PHOTOGRAPHY HEAL & CURE?

Today guest Tim Johnston (formerly shrimbo.com) talks about how photography helped him overcome stress and anxiety particularly during these extraordinary times we live in.

A passing reference also to impostor syndrome and how a future guest, the talented landscape photographer Paul Sanders suggests it’s a problem many photographers seem to endure. Paul like many photographers I speak to, find a solace in their photographic work that lifts them from anxiety, depression and stress. And that’s what today’s episode focuses upon; photography as a great leveller and calming influence.

I’d like to hear from you if you have have discovered photography as a pastime or occupation that has helped you overcome the conditions described today. Write to studio@photographydaily.show
