#100 NEWS, WAR & WEDDINGS

It’s a Saturday and the members only edition takes ‘to the air,’ although you have a chance to hear it on all your favourite podcast apps as well as within the player below.

Thank you to Access All Areas members for helping this show go and grow. This episode was actually recorded prior to the lockdown that internationally affected the world from March 2020. Paul Rogers is a respected British wedding photojournalist with a strong heritage in newspaper work having travelled the world recording important news events for The Times newspaper.

With newspapers cutting back on the staffing levels they’d traditionally employed, Paul made a conscious decision to transition to and work within a genre he'd always felt was not on his creative radar; weddings. This episode tells that story, but equally is one about style, the shooting decisions we make as photographers in terms of storytelling composition, ethics, with a nod to the business side too. The photographs below reference images talked about in the members edition.

Today's show is kindly supported by www.imagesalon.com - outsource your post production and spend more time shooting and working on your business with 25% off your first order in 2020.

Photographs copyright Paul Rogers. Not to be reproduced or used without express permission of the photographer.
