#43 PREVIEW: FROM PRESS TO PEACE

An additional Saturday episode today, a preview of the main episode available to Access All Areas weekend members. Former press photographer and Picture Editor for The Times newspaper in the UK, Paul Sanders talks candidly in a 75 minute special about his complete journey from pressman to landscape photography and his meditative approach.

Paul is regarded as one of the country’s finest landscape photographers, mentors and trainers having made 42 flights last year to teach photography across the globe. His new mindfulness project, Discover Still aims to use photography to bring calm to the mind to aid mental health, particularly relevant during these times.

In the main episode Paul discusses his thoughts about what makes a good press photographer, his work as a pictures editor, the time he considered taking his own life when; “The wheels came off.” He openly discusses his treatment, recovery, move into landscape work and his new mentoring approach.
